A site specific installation was part of Art Spin's HOLDING PATTERNS group show in Toronto from October 11th-21st, 2018

A solo show was exhibited at the Museum of Jewish Montreal from October 25th, 2018 - January 27th, 2019

Each show is curated differently and includes different objects, photographs and A/V components. The first exhibition presented 25 photographs by Sean Wainsteim that featured assemblages built by Lejb Pilanski alongside his handwritten quotes. Presented on eight walls, these were interwoven  with photographs of post-war documents that chronicle Lejb's journey from Eastern Europe to Canada in the forties and fifties. Lejb's physical creations were also presented in the gallery space. A looping video featured Lejb in his home and workshop as he discussed the construction and use of his objects. Contextual typography was hand-written on the walls in pencil.

Press included features in The Canadian Jewish News and Huffington Post which was shared by the UN Refugee Agency.
